Colorful Infection

Free

Hi everyone! This tutorial was requested by some of my Patrons.

You asked me to create something similar to this colorful infection by Matt Taylor, also known as emty01:  https://www.instagram.com/p/BxSjOXHnPiP/

It was really fun to figure this out, I don’t know if the approach that I explore is similar or the same as he did but I really enjoy the colorful result!

Thanks to Matt Taylor for his amazing work. go check his Instagram and give him a follow if you have not done it already!

Generative Soft Voronoi

Free

Hi everyone!

For this week’s tutorial, we got a tie on your votes. The themes particle and geometry deformation got the same vote number, so I had to think of an interesting and funny way to have particles deforming a geometry. I came up with this idea for generative art, where we have particles controlling the Voronoi and edit our geometry pieces to look more into soft bodies. In the end, it looks like a generative soft body animation without soft bodies.

Hope you enjoy!

I was studying the simulation’s speed of multiple soft bodies with vellum, so I decided to record this quick tutorial in case you want to try it out too. I was really surprised by its speed and accuracy, even on my medium computer I was able to run a 30-sec simulation really fast.

Hope you enjoy!

This is a beginner tutorial to get you started!
