In this tutorial, I’m going to show you a brief work pipeline to create and animate characters! We are going to create a realistic character with character creator 3, animate the model in Houdini with the new rig system called KineFx available with the new version of Houdini 18.5. With this new node system, we are going to learn how to retarget animations from Mixamo, create a complex animation sequence with multiple clips and then at the end we will import everything to unreal and see our animation in realtime.
